Dr. Najif Ismail is a distinguished civil and structural engineering consultant with a proven track record of delivering hundreds of diverse, successful projects, including some landmark ones. His advanced qualifications—including a PhD from the University of Auckland, a Master’s degree, and a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering—underscore his deep technical expertise. As a Chartered Professional Engineer and a contributor to industry standards in New Zealand and beyond, he combines rigorous research with practical innovation. His work in earthquake-resistant design has earned him prestigious accolades, such as the 2020 EQC/NZSEE Ivan Skinner Award, while his extensive publications and policy contributions demonstrate his thought leadership in structural and seismic engineering.
