Seismic Solutions Limited is a New Zealand owned Lower Hutt based consulting engineering company with commitment to make your engineering project easy, cost-effective, and faster. We provide a full structural engineering services to property owners, project managers, property developers, and public sector organisations in and beyond New Zealand. We have inspected building performance after recent New Zealand earthquakes, allowing us to analyse existing designs/practices and reflect on these observations in our design practice.

Director and Principal Engineer
Dr. Najif Ismail
Najif Ismail finished his PhD in civil engineering from the University of Auckland, having previously completed a Master of Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with first class Honours. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Chartered Member of the Engineering New Zealand. He has broad experience in structural design, analysis and inspection of structures, including commercial and residential buildings and retaining walls. He has authored a book and more than 60 research articles in structural and earthquake engineering practice areas. He was a contributing author of the submissions made to Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission on masonry building performance. His work on seismic strengthening has won prestigious international awards and saw him participating in the development of New Zealand and American standards and guidelines.
He is the recipient of several awards, to name some are the Masonry Society Outstanding PhD Thesis Award 2013, Otago Polytechnic Staff Award for Excellence, and the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure’s Award for Innovation and Sustainability.
Adeel has a Masters in Structural Engineering and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He is a highly experienced structural engineer with more than 17 years of professional design experience that involve working on a range of building projects from small residential to large institutional and commercial buildings. Adeel likes watching cricket and enjoys his time with his young family.
Mohammad is a graduate from the University of Canterbury, where he completed his BE (Hons) with structural minor, and now a member of the Seismic Solutions team as a graduate structural engineer. Mohammad is passionate and committed to learning about the design and delivery of robust engineering solutions for the built environment. Outside of work, Mohammad enjoys sports, with a particular interest in football and basketball.
Sharjeel is a Civil Engineer with Masters in Construction Management from United States. He has over 15 years of experience in construction, engineering, and management. Throughout his career, he has managed and successfully completed range of projects, including residential, industrial, and commercial buildings. Sharjeel is a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing golf and cricket.
Atif has been actively involved in organizational business development and management for the past 20 years. He holds a business management degree. Having experience in the US market, Atif is eager to bring wealth of his practical knowledge to the SSL team.
Hassan has done MBA in Finance and has 8 years of professional experience in Business Management. He has been instrumental in changing the businesses’ operational and manage clientele.
